3 – VR Immersive Art

mmakowski2023, September 28, 2025

Capture and write up your lab exercise engaging with design VR Art (How might you plan your work using this medium if you were going to base a project using this form?)

Think – what makes a great vr story, e.g less distractions than when using a screen

Made in Maya, 90/180/360 angles. How can we give the audience enough context to feel comfortable.

Audiences had better recall in 90 degrees than 360 in terms of what happens inside VR. First or third person (detached – see body, does it bring any value or does it make it disconnected)? Narrative matters.
